Hey Rat, I have a M2L shock on it, and want to go lower, so your M2 rear shock will not help. Thanks, ( nice line up in your profile).

mitty,

I think what he is saying is that he has the stock lowering bracket for the M2L....I don't believe the shock was any different between a M2L and regular M2.

Anyway, I had a westec mount and it only lowered it an inch or so, about the same as the M2L stock stuff.

Try shaving the seat, maybe?

So you're saying the M2L forward bracket for the rear shock is the same as the Westec dimensions? Didn't know that.
I really like the way this seat feels, so I guess I'll be looking to modify my existing mount to get another inch lower. Saw a homemade adjustable on here somewhere that looked like it would suit. Thanks for the info.

Okay, measured center to center with no one on it, and got 15 1/4. Is that right for a ml2 ? Or did the previous owner put something different on? Do I need a 16.5 ? To make it stock for a ml2 ? And get a lower stance? Thanks for the info.
