The bike has 32,402 on the odometer as it sits in the garage. The rebuild was completed in June 2013 with 31,192 miles. It now has 1210 miles & has broken in nicely. Its located in the High & Dry Desert of Central Oregon where it is perfect for the mountain roads here. It spent most of its time in the dry side of Oregon with one trailered excursion to explore AZ & Southern UT. |

Jetjock- I see it's a 2007 model; was the engine rebuild due to crankshaft/rod bearing failure? There was apparently a bad batch of crankshafts in 2007. If it's rebuilt with a new crank, it should be good to go for another 100k miles. |

No I don't think so. I took the bike in to the dealer for some work & the more they looked at it the more they decided to do. They stripped it down, pulled it apart & put it all back together with new parts. Eventually I received a new bike under warranty. |

Is there a receipt to show what they did, I'm sure we can determine what they did from the parts list. There is a 30k service & some will replace seals but that's not a rebuild. If they put a new motor in, then you've got something of value there. |

Hope I don't offend anyone! I just want to get to a point cause the description is vague at best. Thanks |

I'm not sure what is vague. The bike was 0-timed, totally rebuilt 1210 miles ago. This was not just a 30Kservice. Lots of receipts & its all on the Harley computer. |

Jrobey you're right, the initial description was very vague. No location, no mileage, no year, no price and one small/obscure frontal picture with people sitting on it so you can hardly see the bike and its condition. And no explanation as to why the bike had to be "completely rebuilt." Was it worn out? Wrecked? Both? Lots of clear pictures and a better description would go a long way. "I took the bike in to the dealer for some work & the more they looked at it, the more they decided to do. They stripped it down, pulled it apart & put it all back together with new parts. Eventually I received a new bike under warranty" just seems perplexing. These bikes had certain recalls, but not for the entire bike. |
