I have a complete 2009 XB12 engine for sale. This would be an awesome upgrade for someone with a 2007 and older to get the updated crankshaft and oil pump.

Includes everything from the throttle body down. Bike was running before it was crashed and broke the frame. FRONT HEAD IS NOT BROKEN!!

I can send pics if needed if you send me your e-mail address

$1500 or best offer. Will reduce price $400 if I can keep the cylinder heads. You can easily install your 2007 and older heads with no issues on this engine

PM me or call me at 303-702-1600

Dan

What's mileage? Verifiable by gauge cluster? Can I ship you a set of good heads?
Black motor right? Has clip in oil lines so need swing arm or the mounts to replace 07 and older lines/fittings

Also believe oil lines vary length from short chassis to long chassis, what model chassis was this engine off of?

Sorry i do not know the mileage. Yes it is all black. It came out of a 2009 XB12R.

I do not understand why you would ship me a set of heads?

Engine is located in Colorado.

Just a guess, maybe he wants a complete motor and not mess with it, but has a spare set of good heads that he can ship you in exchange for the discounted price of $1100?

D_adams hit the nail on the Head!!
Yes better to keep a sealed motor like you have.
Anyone interested would Need wire harness & ECM for motor swap to older Buell, has different crank sensor. I was informed by another member earlier.
Need mileage to be interested.

I am trying to find out the mileage from original owner. Yes we could do the head exchange if you do decide you want the engine.

Bike was wrecked, front-end and frame got trashed.
The bike belongs to a friend's brother and he's parting it out.

I have the rear wheel on my Uly..
I needed a tire and was broke. Thanks Nic.

spoke with the original owner and he said the bike had just over 10,000 miles when the crash happened.

It is an engine not a complete bike.

New wiring harness (if still available) runs about $325 for a Uly; ECM is ~$200+. If the engine is used on a 2007 or earlier bike, both are needed. If your friend has still got those items on the trashed bike they'd make the engine much more attractive to prospective engine swappers.

Why worry about the harness. All you have to do is change your Cam Trigger. Done

Is there video of motor running since accident? I just bought a 9 and it appears to have bent a rod while running on it's side. How that happens: oil goes where it shouldn't be and hydro lock happens. Also bent a pushrod.

Just want to say. Dan sent me some motor pics, for the parts included it looks like a great deal at $1000-1500!
if it's still together? Someone should take him up on his offer.
I am simply too far away to make shipping reasonable.

No joy on the long swingarm Raptor, this is from an XB12R.
