I bought this last spring as I thought my no desire to ride thing was because I didn't have a bike waiting for me in the garage. Well, I bought the bike with 18,200 miles on it, and as of right now, it's just over 19,000. The last 250 miles have been put on by a buddy of mine who has been borrowing it over the last month to get his riding fix in while fighting with his insurance company over his stolen KLR and KTM. And, seeing how the garage is getting smaller and smaller all the time, I figure I'd throw it out there to see if anyone is interested. and since I bought it, -relocated ECM -rerouted breather return lines out of airbox -checked 77 connecter, regreased - new battery - front and rear axle sliders tires are pirreli angels with rear needing to be replaced in 1k or so, front probably can go another rear. Edit Mar. 4th - Rear has been replaced with a new angel! I'd sell it for $4600, but would rather partial trade for something else, preferably something smaller/cheaper just to have around to scratch that once or twice a month short ride itch. 250-400 dual sport? simple dirt bike that can be converted to street, ala XR400? had a few DR650's, would consider one of them.. my favorite bike of all time, VFR800, 1998-2000? | ||

Nicely setup Uly at a reasonable price given condition and farkles. I don't know the seller, if anyone wants me to look it over and offer a private opinion before doing a fly and ride or something, I would be happy to go look at it. I'd kind of like to see what the tall seat feels like anyway, I think I would like it better than my short one that came stock on the 07. (And if you wanted to buy his bike and switch seats, I'd likely be happy to do that as well). | ||

Yikes. Don't check here much, didn't see the post till now. Send me more info, It's not on my list, but I won't say no flat out. Let's see, got new front brake pads put on it a few weeks ago. Nothing wrong with the old ones, my buddy just wanted to try a different pad on it and was willing to buy a set, so I said go for it. And, I guess a price drop is in order. How about $4400? | ||

any suspension mods? ecm alterations? kn or other filter? Has the dreaded low temp cough been fixed without the race ecm? |
