Dutch, I don't think (based on factory photos I have of new S1Ws) those are the OEM pegs. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Buell-Harley-squishy-footp egs-1995-2002-misc2-/390452331084?pt=Motorcycles_P arts_Accessories&hash=item5ae8c5c24c&vxp=mtr Are the "correct" original pegs for an S1W. The ones you posted are later-model pegs, and look a bit less 'clunky' on the bike. But, if the OP wants "factory original" for the bike.... |

Thanks Guys, None of the linked ones looks as the ones I'm after! Mine are not as chunky as Ratbuells and not tapered as Dutch links.. Strange, maybe I dont have the originals after all!? I'll try and post a pic later today. Mine are rougly 1" dia and completely "cylindrical"... Cheers/ Jonas |

Those are not original. Those are HD "highway" pegs, that are sold to put on brackets on touring bike engine guards so the rider can kick back. |

Ratbuell, U are correct sir! After a close examination they are stamped Harley Davidson.. They look original - they match toepegs perfectly so I don't think it's a retro fit!? Seems really "heavy" for highway pegs though. Is it Sportster pegs or perhaps Dyna? Does anyone know? Cheers/ Jonas |

So are you looking for the large original ones, or like the ones you posred the pic of? |

They're accessory pegs, most commonly used on highway mounts. Check HD's accessory catalog. I'm trying right now, but their website has come to a screaming halt on me. They are not OEM on any motorcycle, rider or passenger. They ARE a retrofit. Not only do I own an S1W, I have original factory ads for the bike...and I worked for a dealer for 6+ years selling more HD accessories than I really care to remember. |

Bart - bought new? Or secondhand? Lots of people changed out the puffy pegs because they "didn't look cool". I took them off my S2 recently because the rubber wasn't attached to the aluminum anymore, and I had poor footing. I put on a set of the ones Dutch posted (from a later M2). I run the billet Pro Series pegs on my S1W, they were on it when I bought it (secondhand). The ones you and Bull have...are a common, cheap, easily-accessible (most dealers have a bucket or two full of them) replacement, so I'm not surprised to see more than one person who's changed to them. Hell...I have a couple in my old garage, bolted to the ceiling rafters, to use as hooks. |

I know the original owner of the S1W I had and have the original large round "squish pegs" that he removed right after he bought it. http://i1120.photobucket.com/albums/l500/buellish1 /S2%20and%20S2T%20Parts/NikonD-40016.jpg |

I put the smaller HD pegs on my passenger mounts on the S1, just to clean it up a bit and while still leaving a peg. Not that I could get a passenger on there. I am sure I have a few extra sets as well. |

New. I thought the "puffy" pegs only came on the S2's? |

Looks like a puffy peg to me...
A 96 S1 I bought for an ex-girlfriend years ago (not an ex at the time...) also had puffy pegs on it. |
