For sale one of Dean's Keda pipes for an XB.
I had this on my 2008 Uly XT, but it will fit on any XB based Buell.

Dean sells these for $600 unpolished. I will repolish this pipe before shipping. I am selling my XT, is the only reason I'm selling this now. Great pipe and along with the race ECM (for sale on another thread) will WAKE YOU BUELL UP!

$500 shipped CONUS, or o.b.o.

Call dibs here on this thread first, then email dan@alumicraft.com or call me at 814-932-7405 (Pennsylvania).

I accept Visa/MC/Discover via the phone thru my business

Dean didn't offer them when I got this pipe. Not sure if he does now or not. It didn't bother me any not having it installed, one less thing to clean when washing the Buell!

Jardine brackets will fit and allow for retention of the chin fairing.

That looks sweet Toona.
How loud is it?
I have a Drummer on my 1125, kinda like Stealth mode on the Uly...

I would like it to sound like the V-Twin it is tho...

Zac, I had Dean make me an insert to help quiet the pipe a little. I didn't want any kind of resonance/ear ringing because of the distances I planned on riding with this pipe installed. It has a nice "bark" to it, but isn't any where near obnoxious.

I'd say it's inline tone wise with the Odie pipe or a Drummer. But because it is made from stainless, it has a more mellow tone than the Odie reworked steel can.

The added "seat of the pants" HP is remarkable. Power wise, it's probably the best pipe I've ever ran as far as bolt on performance.

Does this mount without the straps, using the two rear mount bolts, or does it use both? Nice looking exhaust...

Erwin,
I uses both the rear tabs (pictured) and the double rear factory straps-which is just extra insurance.

It does not use the front strap factory set up and uses a tab (on mid pipe)/bolt that goes thru the front half moon mounting hole. pretty self explanatory once you hold it up to the bike. The front half moon aluminum spacer and band clamp is not used with this pipe.
