I bought the bike a few weeks back, got a great deal and did some improvements to it. Got a buddy who is selling me his R1 at a better deal and honestly I want the R1 more.

2000 X1 Red Stripe with 23872 miles. Exhaust studs are screwed as is the case with these bikes a lot of the time. I have the new studs, nuts and exhaust gaskets. I also am including the Jims tool jig to fix them and the brand new service manual that I bought. Bike has a brand new O2 sensor, new 180 rear tire, and the seat was recovered less than a week ago. I was in the process of restoring the bike or at least refreshing it, but this R1 deal is too good to pass up.

Bike is in Nashville. I can send photos on request.

$2500.00 as is, come get it.

Do you have to remove the heads to use the Jims tool? I've done it years ago on a shovelhead and had access without pulling the top end.

No, you should be able to do it with a 90 degree drill I would think.

This mean you are going to bid on my auction now instead of trying to play detective with my Michiganspeed login now? I got the email, but as I said, my c*nt ex wife wont do anything with the account. I am locked out of it. Right now the guy buying it is going to part it out.

Well if you said you were a fellow BWB I might have not gone the extra step in confirming that you lost ID, LOL! I have to protect my money especially when I'm dealing with a bike I can't get to and that hasn't been owned for to long. I'm glad you got my question. I don't play games with my ID. It's BSANORTON whether it's here, ebay (510 feedbacks), britbike.com, cycleworld.com, triplesonline, WERA, USA2strokers, AHMRA, vintagebikeracing.com, INOA, it's always BSANORTON, with the only exception on youtube, it's nawtn. For some reason I could not use BSANORTON. I'm selling hopefully my 67' BSA tomorrow and looking for an X1, another Norton or Trident. Your bike is very appealing to me. I've been a long time member here. Have contributed here as much as I can. I have bought and sold here with no complaints. BTW, it would be sad to part it out. I do hope someone here saves it, if not me.

No worries man, I understand. It sucks that I cant get her to give me my account back, I had that account since like 2000. Anyway, the bike is real, I am real, and I just want to sell it to recoup some of the money on the R1 I am picking up. I bought some parts, had the seat redone, and had it towed to my home. Other than that, it is exactly the way I bought it. Local Harley dealer wants between 800 and 1000 to fix it, including new gaskets and re-ringing it while it is apart. They say they have to pull the head, I think they might be being lazy though. Good luck, I would hate to see it get parted out.
