Thanks, Spencer   Littlebuggles Posted on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 - 04:29 am:        Spencer, The Buell stock/accessory tach has a pigtail, just three wires with pins that just push into your instrument cluster wiring harness. So you'll just need a dash and tach, incidentally the 99+ model year X1 and S3 tachometers will work, you'll just have an extra wire for the low fuel light and engine light. If you can source one of those they work fine too. -Mike   Rsm688 Posted on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 - 09:26 pm:        Thanks for the info Mike, that helps me out a lot as I saw a "tach harness" on eBay for like $35 and thought I needed the tach and the harness thinking it was separate from the instrument cluster harness. It was soooooo easy. If I had gotten the instructions first, I could have put a X1 tach on my M2 for half the cash
