These forks are for a 1125. They will not work directly on an XB without changing the triple tree. The top dia is 54mm and the lower is 56mm at the clamp points (if I remember my measurements correctly).

These are not stock forks but rather special build "big piston" type units from EBR. The internals are stock for this unit but nothing like the original ones. Both the compression and rebound adjustments are on the fork cap while the spring preload is at the bottom. They have less than 100 miles on them mostly at the track trying to dial them in. They have not been raced or damaged in any way

I have e tentative buyer for the forks. Just waiting on payment.

For most, there would be little gain over the stock forks. On typical roads they might actually be worse. However, on the track they provide significantly better feel. The stock forks are not particularly good. They were built to a price point. They are perfectly acceptable on the road and with the stock bike package, however, once you start messing with the stock setup it becomes necessary to change the from fork mechanics. The BPF is just one option. A more common option is upgrading the springs and cartridges. There are also cartridge inserts that are amazing. They cost as much as the BPF and require more installation and setup labor. This Ash article explains the concept fairly well.

Does it work? In my opinion, you need to be very sensitive to front end feel, pushing the bikes performance, or on very specific pavement surfaces to notice a difference. For me, the front end of the stock bike setup needed the most help. It was only timing on EBRs part that let me this direction. I would have otherwise gone to my local suspension guys and had them rework the front end internals. Probably would have cost more in the end. I am not fast enough or good enough to make comments on which route would is best for a Buell. These forks did give me better front end feel on the track.
