Author Message   Austinxb12s Posted on Monday, June 18, 2012 - 05:43 pm:        I have an air box cover off my 2005 XB12S for sale along with a Bilt Tank Bag plus a brand new OEM Buell Air Box Cover Decal set (includes 2 black / gray / white raised decals) with part number M0725.2AM. The air box cover is structurally in very good shape but the previous owner used bed liner to cover the original red color and later decided he didn't like it and attempted to paint it white. Unfortunately the black coating is coming through the white paint (see photos) where the Bilt Tank Bag was sitting. It is a sticky substance to the touch that is coming through. The setup looks fine as is with the tank bag on (no one has noticed it) but would be a nice project for someone with painting skills that could utilize the air box and the new decal set. At this point I am NOT willing to split these items apart and would like to sell all for $100 which includes shipping (or feel free to make me an offer). If enough folks inquire about buying the air box cover and the decals separately I will consider selling them separately...I just don't want to get stuck with any of this stuff in my small garage. The asking price reflects $30 for shipping since that was the cost of shipping for my replacement air box. Again, I do not regularly deal in parts so I don't know really what to ask for these things. I am also interested in trades for a K&N air filter (new or in excellent used shape), set of passenger pegs/brackets, or possibly other Buell XB stuff that will fit my bike.
