------------------------------- Dusty Buell found in garage. ------------------------------- 1999-X1-Lightning-Red Snap-16,000 miles (I actually rode it!) Condition....Strong 8, but I'm picky. $5600 Dana-Balt/Wash DC area-Maryland 3Dvision@comcast.net All warranty work completed including the rocker box gaskets, Crank seal, upgraded Primary Chain tensioner. Mods include: Upgraded Supertrapp muffler (to include the upgraded Buell muffler bracket), Gutted air box, Race ECM, Penske shock, Buell upgraded seat, Corbin seat, Upgraded to 2001 shift linkage and high tech spring loaded foot pegs, Head vent catch can, Bar end mirrors, Red Line synthetic oil diet, Dana designed under seat pan, Still have the stock fender and chin spoiler (didn't want to hide the shock), S3T handle bars. Most recent mods (last year): Changed brake fluid, Plug wires, Fresh rear rubber, New battery (kept on Battery Tender). Passed Maryland State inspection. Only problem with the bike is the low fuel light sending unit doesn't work. Bought the unit but never installed it, just used the odometer. 1998 Buell White Lightning for sale. 4800 miles, condition is 9/10. Never dropped or hurt. PM wheels with nice shine, V&H carbon slipon which sounds great, Dynojet kitted, Twintail, cutoff inner carbon fiber fender with license plate relocated, carbon fiber rear turn signals. Metzeler Sportec M1 tires with about 300 miles and no burnouts yet, 190 rear which doesn't rub. Only cosmetic blem is underside of front right "end" on gas tank, paint is bubbled/yellowed slightly for about 1x2" strip (caused by fuel, leaked out while tank was sitting on plastic sheet). Not visible unless you look under the tank really. Bike has all recalls done, M6 chain tensioner, metal rocker gaskets which don't leak a drop, Mobil-1 20-50, runs great. The horn doesn't work though, and I haven't fixed it yet. Other than that, no problems on this really fun great looking bike. I'm selling it because I bought a second house, haven't sold the first one yet, and my daughters want fencing and horses on the new 23 acre place. ie raising cash. Will sell it for $4500. Two year project completed and time to move to new Buell project. Big brother to my Buells is a 2002 Dyna Sport with about 3,500 easy miles and lots' of custom work. I call it the FXDV Darth Vader)version because everything is black. Engine and body work black from factory all other black work professional powder coated. Over $2,200 in upgraded parts alone.
