Hey BadWeb this used to be my S3. I signed the title over as part of a home sale agreement for my mom (whose garage the bike had found itself residing in, unfortunately) in order to cover closing costs. My friend and fellow BadWebber said he had seen Sotipnomon's posting and was concerned.

The ad on Craigslist is misleading. I contacted the Craigslist ad poster and informed him that the bike has a much more colorful past.

I blew out a the head gasket on the rear cylinder while riding a in July of 09. I tore the rear cylinder down and replaced all gaskets that fall. Never could get the back cylinder running again despite spark and (apparent) compression. It has sat since then, waiting for me to give another shot at a repair.

So BUYER BE WARNED. You are looking at a bike that will only run on the front cylinder. I informed the poster of the ad, who does not own the bike, about the blown cylinder and he told me he wasn't aware of the bike's condition, that he was just posting the ad for his friend. He told me this afternoon that he would be in contact with the owner, who, to my knowledge, had been informed by the Realtor of the condition of the bike.

I'm expecting the ad to be dropped in the near future, or at least dramatically modified. If you see this bike listed for sale anywhere else, please let me know.

- Ben
