Those pistons look brand new.

How do they look since they've seen 100 miles?

On the box where it says 10D, does that mean a ten degree dome? If so, isn't a Thnuderstorm piston 15 degrees? These wouldn't provide a proper match to the head, unless I'm mistaken. They may provide an interesting starting point for stock Sportster and S2 heads, however.

I think the Xl1200S heads (where they called Lightning heads?) had a 10 degree squish band in the head but used flat tops from the factory. I remember reading somewhere that Wiseco made these to work with both the XL1200S heads and the T-Storm heads. Though, I agree, the match is not ideal for a t-storm head.

However, with the squish being cast into a t-storm head, it's a bit inaccurate sometimes and I'm sure could lead to fuel traps with a negative angle between the head and piston, so this 5 degree different is likely negligible and would only matter if you had machines squish in the heads.
