I need a primary cover for my 2004 XB12S mine got busted when the shifter hit the road. Let me know if you have one that will work.

I have finally recovered from my spill back in June. The front end came up faster than I could react and I ended up on my a$$, that hurt but not as bad as my knee which had a hairline fracture in the femur at the end, 3 months later I'm back to work.

Thanks
Mark

Keep your hand on the clutch lever and think of a piece of rope tied to your shoulder. when the front end gets to high, you don't have to react as you will pull in the clutch without thinking. you can also use the rear brake, as this will bring the front end down even if you have rotated past vertical!

I tried to push the rear brake but I guess it was too late.

If you have the skills and welding machines ,what are you waiting for!?

make sure that the broken part fits okay ,usa a Tig welding machine
tag it in place ,maybe you check if it fits properly on the bike.
If it is possible pre-heat it (in a oven)
and go weld it together ,after welding let it cool down on its own way.

Bjul - sent you a PM regarding that primary cover if Vamark passes on it.

I'm rebuilding a 04 Firebolt that was hit by a drunk driver, and the primary cover is on of the last parts I need to find for this bike.

Still looking for a primary cover to fit a 04 Firebolt if anyone has one. I'm going to weld up the damage on the one I have, but I would prefer to have a good one to use if possible.
