School has to be paid for so I need to sell my heart and soul. I have a 2003 XBS, it has a 04 12 motor in it. Headlight assembly is gone, tail section is gone, handlebars are gone. Rims powder coated black with polished lip, 5/10 (needs some TLC) I have new bearings for them. Forks and frame were painted red, needs to stripped or repainted. I have white TT plastics, black plastisc, 3 different seats (2 stock, 1 CityX) The Unkown: Last time I rode the bike the negative ground came loose and fried the Race ECM, it backfired a few times then quit running. I put the stock unit back in but had no way to reset the TPS. It will fire up, will NOT hold an idle, AND backfires, but not in a steady ryhthm. It is a 1203 motor with the 984 primary gearing. The clutch plates have upwards of 50,000 miles and just started slipping in upper gears during hard acceleration. I also have an extra transmission from an 04-05 XB. I was told that it had 7000 miles on it. I ended up getting the 12 motor and didnt need this tranny. I'd like to get 800 for the rolling bike as is. I'll entertain parting it out after a few days if I get no bites on the whole thing. | ||

She is not a trailer queen. I rode her ALOT! Everywhere! Always changed the oil every 2500-3500 miles with Mobil1 V-Twin 20w-50 synthetic. Used Mobil1 synthetic gear oil which was changed with the oil. Clutch was adjusted with every other change. The dented pipe came with the 12 motor and was ridden for approx. 16000 miles with no problems( I did have a Race Pipe on it). The dent in the frame came when a strap worked loose on the lift and it slipped down against a sharp edge. I have some Aluminum Putty from a local store but just never got around to fixing it. It has the updated drive pulleys on it. It has the 1st gen Precision Engineering foot controls. It also has the PE bar risers with another 3/4 in rise adapter that I made in order to use the Clubman bars comfortably. I have the base plate and a K&N filter(and cleaning kit) with open airbox modification done.        | ||

Wow that bike is good looking how it is now! a real used and abused old school buell for that $$  NICE it's 1000 times better as all that hacked up choppers. i say fix the issues and ride it how it is, or good luck with the parting out! | ||
