I have a '97 Cyclone, with approximately 12k miles. Needs front head replaced due to mount breaking. Original body work blue with additional seat and extra manta style larger tank in matching color. Currently setup with black body work and seat from a 2001 chassis which is also included in sale. Penske shock, Vance & Hines and White Bros. mufflers, S&S airbox plus all stock stuff.

I'm posting on here to see if there's any interest in it's current state - front motor mount bolts broke and front head needs replacing (cracked tab on head). I have the new updated isolator, mounting bolts, and billet mount from American Sportbike just in but have yet to do the head. Just put a new Interstate maintenance free sealed battery in it last month too. Since upgrading the heads is a popular mod or maybe someone on here has take offs laying around I thought I would advertise it here first before doing the work. I would like to make a package deal and this place has the audience. I have original Buell saddle bags, Wolfman Explorer tank bag, stock bars + dual wall mx style bars on it now, Lane Splitting bar end mirrors (CRG?), extra 2001 chassis minus wheels, engine and shock. Tires have around 3-4k miles on them, Dunlop sport touring with lots of life left.

Basically a bunch of stuff and I can send detailed info and pics if anyone is interested. I'm not giving it away or ready to break anything up yet but if you're seriously interested in the package deal contact me, look it over and then make a fair offer. I love the bike, but after getting hit with all the traditional tuber "quirks" last season and starting out this season I'm ready to get something a little "less quirky". I'm hoping to find someone who knows what they're getting, and will appreciate it for what it is! Had I been more informed on these "quirks" I would probably still be riding this bike, but no one told me to join this site and spend hours reading when I first bought it! I'm the second owner, it's never been down.

For the right buyer I think this could be a great bike with all the extras. I'm not sure what to ask, market demand dictates price I guess but if it's not something somebody wants as is to finish as they like, I will finish it myself and sell at a later date. Thanks for reading this far! If interested calls are best. Again, bike and parts are located in the Rochester NY area. Not interested in breaking it up and please no tire kickers. Thanks, Mike 585.261.7225

To clarify on the above, I will sell the bike with whatever parts the buyer wants at negotiated price. They can choose and negotiate based on what extras they want. But I will not sell parts before selling the bike itself, so that the buyer of the bike can choose whatever extras they want as part of the deal. Thanks, Mike
