No difference between 08 and 09, I don't think.

there is a difference for the motors. 09's have different injectors and I think some other stuff is different. My bike is an 08, is your manual for a 08?

Different forks, injectors, flywheel, stator, swingarm, instrument cluster, headers, cam tensioners, heat shielding and then some cosmetic changes. The 09 book would work for an 08 in a pinch, but it is best to get the book for the right year.
