Looking for a voltage regulator for a 2000 M2.

I was expecting it to be the same for all tubers but someone said the 97 S2 I found would not work. If anyone knows differently, please let me know.

Thanks,
Robert

i believe they are all the same but not sure. I have one id like to sell off a 99 X1. Works fine, the corner was rubbing though and missing a little material. Still works fine. Hit with a little paint and would never really notice it. $20 + shipping.

Here is the one I found:

http://store.sporttwin.com/index.php?route=product /product&path=40&product_id=86

I was surprised when he said it wouldn't work.

Rubbing on the header?

I dont know.. it was like that when i bought the bike in 08. The guy i bought it from had the regulator held to the bracket with wire ties. Dont believe it touched the exhaust in any way. Worked fine up until the time i pulled it off the bike. Just sitting in my box of spare parts.

as far as my understanding though... all of the regulators are the same. but i could be wrong.

We are moving this weekend so it will probably be a few weeks before I can do anything so I will catch up with you soon.

Thanks again,
Robert
