so, how do they mount to the bike?
does it attach to the rear seat, or are there bungees?

Its got a terrible system of straps that you use to wrap around the passenger peg mounts, tail section, and license plate holder. Good bad, terrible pain in the ass mounting system.

Yes, it is a bit of a pain to attach to the bike, only a few minutes, but much more than the triangular tail bag.

I got the bike inspected the other day and it was a hassle undo one side to get under the rear seat.

BUT
Its an awesome bag. Holds a good amount, has some compartments which is nice helping organize things.

I got mine just a bit after the shutdown and it was a deal for a hundred bucks new.
This one is half that.
Well worth 50 bucks, in my opinion
