He overcharges for his parts. Typically charging over MSRP for parts that you can still buy new from the dealer or even Al. Then again I just got my X1 project last October, so I don't have as much knowledge of the better sources yet. I have made a couple of purchases from Al, and he answered an installation question in great detail for me, good guy there. There is several wiring harness on Ebay, pinwall cycle is a good source to buy from.
