I built this setup last year for my 1125. It is the standard Buell bag for the 1125. It normally would be strapped down over the passenger cowl via 4 straps. I didnt like this because it reduced the interior volume because of th curved shape of the tail section. I also wanted something that would come off easily.
I took a old passenger seat, stripped it and mounted it to a piece of aluminum diamond plate cut to the same size as the bag. I then used some heavy duty stainless steel snaps to secure the bag to the plate.

With this setup you can take the bag off with the 4 snaps in 10 seconds and take the bag with you via the shoulder strap. Also you are the ability to take the whole assembly off the same way you would take the passenger seat off, just use the key and it pops off. So you can switch between your standard seat/cowl and rack as you please without having to mess with straps. It also maximizes the interior volume due to to the flat surface. One more bonus is you can use the diamond plate piece on its own as a flat surface to mount carry anything. Just use a standard motorcycle net or similar.

The bag itself is in good used condition. The only flaw is the stitching around the top piece has started to come loose. A needle and thread and it would be fixed in 10 minutes. The bag comes with the original straps. It also has a pull out rain cover, and a satchel type shoulder strap tucked underneath for easy carrying.

The 4 extra holes were the first mounting attempt. I decided to move the bag a little farther back as it was hitting my back. The new position is perfect.

I'd take $100 shipped for everything, I am sure it would be very useful to a fellow Buell owner. I loved it and am only selling it because I crashed and converted my tail to a Uly.
