Umm, if this *IS* true, you're either going to be getting the salvage yard in deep do-do by not following their contract, or the employee that was SUPPOSED to be there when it was crushed. HD takes these things REALLY seriously. And if you're actually caught selling that, HD's lawyers will probably seek you out. I'd not be surprised if the local constable pays you a visit if you attempt to sell it locally. Just something you learn when you have family in high places at HD for nearly 40 years.
