Hi everyone, I ran into a friend/old customer of mine tonight and he's getting ready for a trip from MD to MA (Mass - is MA right?) on his XB12Ss. He has saddlebags, but wants a Buell tailbag for some more space. I recall someone posting recently about a bunch of tailbags at a dealer somewhere...but I'll be damned if I can find it. Anyone have a bag for sale, or know where the thread is? Worst case, I told him he could borrow my CR's tailbag. Not "made" for an Ss...but it'll work for him in a pinch. | ||

That was Rossmeyer's Daytona dealer, they are sold out of the bag. It was the 1125R trunk bag anyway. Tell your friend to pick up the Cortech stuff that Ft_bstrd sells, it is very nice and spacious. | ||

+1 on the cortech bag, they work well, and will also clip onto the Buell saddlebags. | ||

I'll pass that on. He's not on badweb yet, but is very into Buell and proud to be an owner. He said he'd really like to keep the Buell name on as much of his stuff as he can....but if Cortech is the way for him to go on this trip...I might have a Buell patch somewhere I can give him to sew on the bag LOL.
