Here is a close up of the ostrich seat, I have an upholstery guy in my town that does a lot of custom hot rods and bike seats, he took my factory seat and replaced the padding and cover it with ostrich, it is a comfortable to sit on as it looks !

You need a badass bike like that in the line up! Keep it if you can...If not, all the best.

LOL Fahren, I thought the same thing when I first seen the seat, they don't look so pronounced in real life like the pic makes them look.
My 1125CR should be here tomorrow. And as the date gets closer I'm really loosing interest in selling my S1W. I was talking to a friend of mine and he said well you could always buy another one(talking about the S1W), but I don't think I would ever find another one with that low miles and I love the Black and blue/purple frame. I had 10 calls from the local advertising and 3 guys really interested one made me an offer of $3000 (I have it advertised local for $4000.) I told him no way if I wanted $3000 I would have put that in the ad. Granted I lowered the price on the Buell Forum but the money does not matter to me as much as someone getting the bike and loving it as much as I do. One guy wanted to buy it for his son, he told me that his son was learning to ride and this way they would not have too much money tied up if he dropped the bike, at that point I was just honest and told them this is a piece of American History not a disposable Japanese bike (no offence to anyone with Japanese bikes just not my thing)And told him I would not sell them the bike. I hope I’m not setting myself up for internet daggers coming my way for telling this story. I guess bottom line is I have never seen an 1125CR in person and I love my S1W and I’m lucky in my life the money does not matter and does not change my world for buying a new bike. So this long email is saying that I think the best home for the S1 is with me.
Thanks for reading this long email Tracy. P.S. Thoughts ??

I understand your thought process completely. Although I am not in the same financial situation as you, if I was, I would have bought your S1 in a heartbeat. It would sit in the garage right next to my S1....I think I would ride yours more, I love the black/nuclear blue combo

You did the guy's son a big favor not selling him the bike. Not a good bike for starters and you'd have had blood on your hands...
Keep the thing if you don't need the money...

Hey Falcon, I'll let you store the bike in my garage here in South Florida and you can come down on vacation to ride it anytime. As long as I get to hang onto the keys when you are not here.

Beachbuell,

You buell riders are the best !!!! what a great offer. to be honest if i got to south florida a lot, that would be a great way to keep a bike down there. I have one stored in Sacramento at a friend business so when i get in the area i have something to ride. I left him the keys i don't think he rides it much but i don't care as long as he does not get stupid, and i know the guy and trust him, Obviously. Take care Trace.
