I've got a red Scorpion EXO 700 Crackhead helmet, size Large for sale. My parents got this for me for Christmas and I love the color and style, but it's a wee bit too small. Either my head has gotten fatter since I bought my last Scorpion 700 or they've changed the design of the helmets a bit. Regardless, an XL fits better and I just got a replacement today. This is brand new, only tried on. Comes with helmet bag, tags etc and will be shipped in the new Scorpion box.     I cannot return this helmet, they bought it a few months ago and it's outside of the return window. So, I'm offering it up here. I believe these are now discontinued, but were around $250, I believe. Mike, Glad you went and tried one on. I'm guessing from your statement and what you've told me about your helmet sizing, this probably runs more like a smaller medium? Can you help me out a bit with sizing? Price drop to $100, need to move this. Thanks! Alex | ||

I crashed at Nashville Super Speedway at the top of 4th gear with an EXO-700 on and rashed every side of it. Not so much as a headache after the crash. These helmets for the money cant be beat. | ||

Alex, Like I said to you before. Most of my HJC helmets have been mediums. The dealer I went to did not have a 700 in stock but I tried on a 1000 in large and it fit snug. I did not try on an XL in the 1000. While I was there I tried on the 900 flip up in large and it also fit snug. I think the large will brake in and fit me right. The only reason not getting your is I think I am getting the 900 flipup instead. Most of my other helmets are flipups and they work for me with my glasses. really wish that was the 900 or 1000 alex. for the price, i'm drooling. hey mike, we're getting the wife the 900, but because it's a new color, it's on back order until march. the cool thing about the 900 is that it's a convertible unit. you can take the front piece off. | ||

yep, that's tim. it wasn't long after that he sold the rk and when my buddy decided to get rid of his m2L, tim flew down and road it up to around the appleton wi. area. he saw how much fun i was having on the bike. right now he's got the bike stripped and gonna give it a black/limegreen paint scheme like his snowmobile. that would have been a nice pic if it wasn't for the ape hangers. i road that bike one time and it didn't do nothing for me. besides the apehangers he had the idle set low so you were always having to feed it gas to keep it running. i never understood that one. | ||

Neil, Hope the 1000 is a great helmet for you. I've really liked the 700s and got a pretty good deal on a replacement for this one, so I'll stick with them for now. Maybe I'll give the 1000 a shot in a few years. Hope to see you soon! Alex |
