I have all parts requested except the rear tail and front plastics (have undertray and lights). Shoot me an email with offers. Wheels are Translucent Yellow. Have complete belt setup (upgrade for 03s). I have a race exhaust (with typical dents/dings) and stock headers. Also have race ECM. It is the bike from NY. With my original 1125R in the garage and the new 1125CR in the garage now I just don't have the space/time for the XB. I know most guys know I picked it up for $750, but I have since added quite a bit to the pile trying to get it back to a complete bike. I have also invested a decent amount in repairing the cam bushings and rebuilding the heads. I sent you a reply but this project is probably beyond my money at this time. Since Jstfkndi has a cracked frame maybe he should get first dibs in order to fix his machine instead of parting it out. After that I would love it but don't think I can afford it with all the extra stuff. I will say that I have little interest in the frame, but the forks, swingarm, wheels, shock, triple tree, belt drive, and maybe a few other parts would interest me if I can get the price down to where I can afford them. Belt drive parts being one of the most desired since my 03 belt is getting old and I'd like to upgrade to the newer style belt. If we can work out a good price for the above components I'll figure out when I can come and get them. Cash would be the choice of payment. Just something to consider... As far as I know, NY titles do not require that the seller get their signature notarized. This may not be entirely true if it is sold across state lines, but definitely still applies for in state sales. So as long as it has not been titled in NJ it should be good. Also note that there is a time limit to which a title must be changed and this title is probably coming up on nearly 1 month now so I wouldn't take much time to go and get the title changed to your state. | ||

Maybe Jstfkndi and I can work out a deal and split the price with some stuff to me and some stuff to him. That way you don't need to spend half you life shipping things. I would probably want to come and pick my stuff up since I think you are only about 5 hours away. Engine and frame are not very important to me right now, but a bunch of the other stuff would get me toward my custom project faster. And I'm not trying to waste your time, I really am genuinely interested, just that I spent a ton of money getting a few other extra parts and I don't have an awful lot left or I would have just grabbed everything by now and parted out the few things I did not want (motor and frame being first on the list). If I have a definitely no going back commitment to the frame and maybe the motor, I'll broker the entire deal, but I'm not willing to do it without a binding commitment for the parts I do not want. So if someone else wants to split this, let's start making a deal and see where we end up (plus shipping of course). | ||

BTW, If push really does come to shove, I may take the whole thing and rebuild it, my brother may want one of these to go with his KLR650. And we already know that there is no real value on the used market right now, so this bike in running condition is worth maybe $4000, so anyone thinking they will make a profit should think again. | ||

Honestly, best situation for me is to sell the whole deal to a few local people and get my money out of it. If 2 guys can rebuild 2 bikes that gets 2 Buells back on line at the sacrafice of this one. As far as making a profit, it is possible.
