I am looking for a carbon fiber race air cleaner for my S1 road racer.  I would buy outright, or possible trade for some extra buell parts I've got: complete hypercharger air cleaner off my '98 S1W, near match for nuclear blue frame.  I have a yellow XB Firebolt tail section. It has a pretty good scuff from a laydown. It could be a repaint candidate or perfect for a race bike. I've also got some S3 parts: a brand new front fairing spider, never on a bike. I've also got a very nice early S3 seat. It looks to be a new take off, with a couple small rub marks on the bottom. Bump, still looking for a race air cleaner. Lots of stuff to trade or will buy outright. Brinn, you got anything laying around? I've got a '97-98 Cyclone black tail section in good shape.  I also haven some blast front and rear axle covers, new in packages.  Also some misc. items....one uly or city-x hand guard, some gold XB passenger heel guards, some nice chrome plated o-ring foot pegs for tube framed bikes, some SBS brake pads for PM caliper tube frame bikes (95-97).    | ||

John, if you can find just the CF cover, NRHS makes an excellent backing plate for the Race A/C and other hamcam air cleaners, with a built-in venturi. Fits just like the original piece, with the original cover, but is stronger. You can get it from Al @ American Sport Bike. | ||

Ross, thanks for the tip. Dan at NRHS had mentioned that he had them for sale, and I did look at them. I am hoping to find an original.....it just doesn't seem right to put a newer part on the old girl. |
