Author Message   Methed Posted on Wednesday, October 21, 2009 - 04:26 am:        This jacket was given to me brand-new by a friend/boss just before I had to sell my Harley. I've got sentimental ties with it, however I have also lost 60 pounds since I got it and have upgraded to a Buell (my original reason for selling the other bike). This "Shovelhead" leather Harley jacket has seen a couple thousand miles, but you wouldn't know it. It is in near-perfect shape with no scuffs, tears, or blemishes of any kind. There is no "Harley Davidson" branding on it except for the outer edge of the buttons, the inner part has a bronze inset of a Shovelhead motor--see inset below. It's a size LARGE, but ran a little big even with my extra heft. I really like this jacket, but it simply doesn't fit me now and I want to sport the Buell brand. This jacket retailed for over $375 new--I'm asking $170 shipped to the lower 48. If you're interested, I'll throw in the pictured no-name chaps in good condition for a grand total of $200 shipped. I'm willing to negotiate, and will be in East Troy on Sunday and Monday for the farewell if you want me to ditch shipping costs and square up then. What I'm really wanting to find is a used leather Buell jacket in a Medium or a tight Large, and I'd be willing to trade even up. It'd be really sweet to swap at the Factory this weekend, but I'd cover shipping from my end for a trade otherwise. What else? Oh yeah, pics...
