I have a used aluminum Jardine RT1 that has had the internals ripped out and lost (previous owner). I got an email back from Jardine that the parts needed would be around $60 so it would be a freshly repacked muffler with a worn out clamp and I should have all the bolts to attach it, but it would be missing the clamp for the header.

Is there interest in this muffler at $120 plus shipping? If there is I'll get some pictures up before I order the parts and make sure the interest stays.

Alternate would be to sell as is for $60. I was going to let it go for shipping, but decided I would like to get a little money out of it if possible. If not I may rebuild it and use it, but the money would be nice to offset some of the other projects that I've started.

Im interested in the exhaust as it sits. I need an exhaust for my race bike and I think I that it would work nicely.

If you could post some pics.

Thanks,
Chris

Really? I would think on a race bike you would be better off with a chunk of pipe between the two ends. I'll get some pictures up tomorrow.

Also aren't there noise limits at the tracks? This is way louder than 100db at anything above idle.

There are noise restrictions at the track, I have yet to see them enforced.

As far as the pipe, I would be doing some work to it, it wouldnt be used as is.

Here are a few pictures. I was told to cal about getting the perforated pipe which was $35 and of course the packing kit which is on their website. I forgot to get the rear mounting bracket and clamp for the pictures, the clamp has broken rubber in many spots which is why you will see where the aluminum has some deep scratches. All the rivets should be replaced and it really needs a wash, didn't remember how dirty it was or I would have cleaned it first.
