Hmm, Let me see. I'm no math genius but let,s do the math. They are "giving" you $100 towards airfare, $100 for hotel, 600 mile service (which should be included in the purchase anyway), Dinner (Mickey D's?), plus ship a suitcase (if you need to). Now, that may all sound well and good but if you'll notice they are charging you $300 more for this "special" Fly and Ride program. Deal? dosen't look like it to me. In the end nobody gets anything for free, you are paying for it. How about just a killer deal on the bike with no smoke and mirrors. (Message edited by scarecrow on September 28, 2009) |

If you pay full MSRP (or significantly higher than $4000 off MSRP like we are offering), the first service is SOMETIMES thrown in. Mine wasn't. Most aren't. Yeah, we are charging you for the perks in the price of the deal, but you are getting a 50% discount off what it costs US. $600 for $300? Seems like a decent deal to me. If not, I'll give you a $10 if you give me a $20. |

Ok, I'll take your word for it. I do have a question though, and don't get me wrong I love Buells, but why are there so many old stock 1125R bikes available? Was it not a popular model? Myself, I'm looking at some older XB12R's to replace my 01 X1. |

Easy fellas. We have them because we were able to take a consignment of them from another dealership. We have had to go find them. They aren't just laying around. Two of the bikes we have are ones we sold, but the owners have asked us to consign the bikes for them. So we really only have 4 bikes out of the 6 that are "owned" by the dealership. What we hope to provide is a good selection of them so that if we have multiple folks looking for bike deals simultaneously we don't have one deal pull a bike out from under another person. These are great bikes. Sure there are some teething pains, but there are solutions for 99% of the problems. If my situation were a little different, I would be picking up one of these myself. The deals are just too good to pass up. We've thought long and hard to try to come up with pricing, incentives, and benefits that would make someone want to deal with us. We hope we've been successful and will continue to be. Give us the opportunity to earn your business and see what buying from an enthusiastic Buell dealer is like. |

You can get more from the HD dealer in Syracuse New York, I know they have at least 1 brand new 1125r that they tried to sell me, but it is way out of my price range. I think they would love to get rid of it with a dealer transfer/purchase if you need another one. Not a big Buell following up here, which is fine with me because that means whatever I get will be a real rarity here. They seem to do pretty well with the HD lines and with their service, so I don't think they try really hard on the Buells. They are on the web if you want to talk to them, or probably listed in some kind of dealer registry. |

Another great deal while I'm broke. Man you guys are really doing a good marketing move here. Really shows your enthusiasm for the brand and I hope that in a year or so your pulling something else like this out of your hat. |

"ummm...it's the web....if the shoe fits HELLO..." That's a pretty intelligent statement. Not surprising though coming from a cop! Nothing but overgrown children. I know, I used to be one when I was younger but I grew up and became a man! Thanks Ft_bstrd for answering my questions. |

My pleasure. I like transparency when I deal. I try to provide as much transparency as I can when I deal with others. I've always felt that when deals become opaque, customers become frustrated with the process. There aren't that many moving parts. |

Looks like a pretty sweet deal, nice to see. If I weren't so far away, I'd trade my XB12 in on one of these in a heartbeat. I guess I could sell... |

I'm sure they are nice bikes, after all, they are Buells, but I just can't get past those hideous air scoop's on the sides. It may only be air cooled but I think the XB12R beats the 1125 in the looks department hands down, but that's just my opinion. That is why I am shopping for an XB12R but I live in California so I am limited to instate bike's or one's with over 7000 miles on them. I do have a few good leads though. |

LOL, I love the air scoops and the look. Everyone to their own taste. Great to have so many options, something for everyone. My complaint when I test rode, other than low speed surging which sounds like was taken care of, was the shifter was in too tight to the frame. I figured that was a small problem. I keep looking at the pictures on this page and it kills me I can't pick one up yesterday! |

Please help us to get more Buells on the roads and tracks. I spent this summer at our local track days against the jap bikes and every time someone would ask about the performance/handeling, and it was all stock. These are very good machines for the money. I also ride Xb12x for fun and still whoop up on sport riders. Again lets ask, tell local dealers/riders to try these bikes. There are good finance rates now. To FT_Bstrd keep up the good work. We are Buell! |

Ft bstrd, I sent you a PM but I am not sure you got it. I am looking for any help on a Buell dealer in the Phoenix, AZ area. Any recommendations? Would love to do business with you guys but I'm too busy to do the fly and ride deal right now and its a tad far... Looking to test ride an 1125R vs. the CR so I can decide which I like better. The dealer up my way is getting out of the Buell line. I was hoping you might know some Buell "friendly" dealers down this way. Thanks, Bio |

Biomechanic, I did get your PM. I have been out since I got it. I'm checking with Tom to see if he knows of a good dealer out your way. If you haven't heard back from me in a couple of days, don't hesitate to poke me with a stick. |
