Hating it, but the moment is here, and decision has been made, I've gotta let it go. This was a project from first purchase, fresh top end, Andrews cams,Pure Power oil filter, Supertrapp exhaust system, Banke foot controls,PM wheels w matching pulley, race ECM w PC cable and VDSTS disc, Metzler tyres FnR, fresh drive belt plus a new one in the box, onyx color w paint matched rear hugger, newly re-built rear shock, Banke oil cap(the screw in kind). Nothing is second rate all top shelf. 1996.0 miles and the market says it's worth 3,500, thats what will take it. (Message edited by jstfrfun on July 25, 2009) | ||

The reason this ad is NOT in the parts and accessorys page is because I'm NOT parting this bike out! But there are a great number of reasons why someone would want to do that after there purchase, check it out and do the math, someone could do well if they have the time and contacts. I, however do not want to trade or give away any of the choice pieces on this machine. Ad going on Ebay tomorrow! | ||

Had a couple calls yesterday from Craigslist, not bad for the first day. Waiting to post on Ebay till the other one there sells today, it's a auction buy-n-flip so the buyer has no idea what he's getting, and it has some damage. | ||

the market says it's worth 3,500" blue book on my '02 is $5215 but it'll be a cold day in hell before I sell it for that. I'd consider an offer for twice that... ... but I'd turn that offer down as well. Best of luck with the sale, and thanks for trying to keep it in one piece and away from the chopper guys! | ||

It's a piece that should be kept intact, unlike the track bike I'm using for my "chopper" project. I do have some respect for the O/E design. As well as the really cool stuff thats on it, should stay on an O/E bike. | ||

$3,300 on ebay it sold for. Good luck, it's not a cover, it's a billet pulley. | ||

The only bidder lost financing and withdrew their bid. Several people have begged me to "give" them (on trade) that pulley which is very rare and at this time impossible to buy, it will sell for 33 to 35 hundred and include a very nice bike attached to it! | ||

Thats what I said, but if you think about it trading for your non-rare non-special, to downgrade the really cool machine that I've built is a gift, not what i'm doing right now . I NEED to sell this bike, if I didn't I wouldn't. It's the one bike I own that scares my wife to the point of NOT riding it with me, and since there are no corners to shredd, its purpose is moot. I have over six thousand invested in it(including purchase price),but logic dictates it is the one to let go of at this time. When I get back in the black I'll be looking for another Buell, a Blast, or maybe an older model(I love the S series). But till that time the "wild child" must go. | ||

The Sharktooth is rare as well. Took me awhile to score one of those...I hadn't seen any surface for a couple of years. And then an influx of several. I don't think 5 being sold in a 6 month period makes it non rare. Either way. Anyways, good luck again. | ||
