Thinking about trading my Kooks/D&D combo for a New In The Box Vance & Hines Slip-on... or buying a used system or slip-on cheap.

Factory race system or race header with D&D or aftermarket magnaflow.

What I got: Kooks performance header for FI Tuber (X1) with a shortened D&D race muffler.
The Kooks is to wide at the rear bend where it comes into (2/1) one pipe to fit the old Buell racing belly pan, without fabricating lowering brackets for the pan. The Belly pan is supposed to hug up againg the bike in the same mounting points as the X1 chin fairing.

If I go back to the stock header with a slip-on I wont have this problem. If I had an original Buell racing system I would'nt have this problem either.

I know the Factory Race muffler from Buell was prone to constant repair/repacking, but I dont mind... I got used to the routine with my old Wilyco.

I'm not interested in a Force System.
