I have my beloved Aerostich Roadcrafter for sale. She's got about 12,000 miles on her, and many many left. I bought this suit when I did the Ride Across North America, and hit my last growth spurt the summer after that trip, so this is a bit small in the chest and length now.

Aerostich's website has the following guidelines for fit: 42" chest, 6'1" height, 150-190 lbs, 36: waist, 33" inseam. These measurements would be for one who wore street clothes under the suit. At the time, I was about a 44" chest and 215# and it fit great with a pair of jeans and a sweatshirt underneath.

The Roadcrafters are the best suit for general touring, daily riding, rain riding etc. They are comfortable in the cold with appropriate layers, and are even comfortable in the desert heat with all of the vents opened and a wet T underneath for some instant air conditioning. They do well in the rain too, I spend 2 days in solid rain through Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia with minimal rain invastion. You just need to do the Aero crotch tuck- Ask Court. Great for commuting to work too, they take all of 7 seconds to get in and out of and will keep the grime off of your freshly pressed khakis and polos.

Overall in good shape, two areas of the ballistics have some damage from a low speed parking lot getoff (right knee and elbow). They are not through the Goretex liner though and could be easily repaired by Aerostich. Asking $600 towards the "I need a new 'Stich" fund, OBO. I'll cover shipping in the continental US. New, these go for $800. I plan on taking the patches off before shipping.
Thanks!
Alex

You would think by now they would of invented some kind of drain system that redirects the water from puddling in the crotch!

They did...It runs right in and makes it look like you pissed your pants. LOL It really helps with making new friends after riding in the rain.

60000+ miles and I haven't had that problem. I did seam seal the zippers tho.

Do you have an estimate on the repairs? I had similar damage repaired on my a couple years a go.

I think the puddling crotch syndrome is somewhat dependent on the tank shape as well.

The elbow is just a seam that needs to be repaired, someone that is decent with a needle and thread should be able to do it. The knee probably needs new ballistics, I think Aerostich quoted $50 for that work.

$550?
