Gonna have to sell the mini Uly and my ATC 200X. Look for a separate add for that.

The Blast has about 8,400 miles on it. V&H header/ muffler, K&N filter unit, Buell large windshield, wifey's custom black leather tassels, new front tire, rear is good for another thousand or so. Oils and plug changed within 300 miles.

I made it look like a mini Uly with the Orange motif. Looking to get $2100.00. It is a ride it home kind of bike, ready to go. Make that $2,000.

For $400.00 more, I have a set of Uly Journey side bags and rack that you can adapt to fit. One has a bit of a scuff and a new replacement molding. Very repairable. It has not been done, as time will not allow it to happen by me now.

PM me for contact info.

This is what it would look like with the journey bags colored and installed. Some simple bracket tabs and reinforcements would have to be made up. I borrowed these off my Uly for the pictures. I just don't have time to get this done at the present time.

Looks good. Couple questions:
Do you have the mounting bracket for the bags or do you mean rack like a top rack? How much work do you forsee being involved in installing the bags? I'm pretty handy but don't really have any metal working tools.

I like the orange. Is the paint on the bags rattlecan?

How much off if you keep the tassles? Joking, no offense to the wife.

Does it ride ok with the windshield or does if buffet around at higher speed?

I'm kinda interested and don't want to be a tire-kicker. Need to look around my finances a little and see if it's in the cards. Plus I have an upcoming deployment at the end of the year so don't really NEED another bike but it looks like a cool scoot.

Oops one more question. Would the bags installed preclude having a passenger?

I have the bag set and the Uly bracket for the side bags. The color is paint that I mixed for use in my bodyshop. It is a urethane that requires many components and some expertise. The bags that are for sale are not painted to match and one has some scuff damage, with a new lower side molding. They are just an option. Not a part of the bike yet.

The bags will not get in the way of the passenger seating, footing is tight, likely have to move the passenger pegs a bit. The bracket fits up within a half inch of the under tray. Some simple brackets of something like 5/8" by 3/16" aluminum flat bar stock could be made to reach solid mounting points.

The windshield works fine for my wife at 5'4". I found that for me sitting back on the passenger seat works best, I'm 6'. If I set in the forward position my knees are bent too far for me and the wind will buffet my helmet. Sitting on the back and reaching forward fixes that for me.

Hey Vern, as much as I love what you've done with it, I just don't think buying another bike is in my best interest right now. I think I need to spend the time and money I have enjoying the bikes already in my garage. Hope you haven't felt like I was stringing you along. I go to Greeneville periodically we'll have to meet up sometime. Good luck with the sale man.

courtesy bump,
This bike is still for sale
...as far as I know

Why yes it is still for sale! Thanks for that, and no problem at all. Hope to see you out riding in the area sometime. You can always PM me when you are headed in to my zone!

For those looking, the rear tire is not making me happy. I would not hesitate to ride it 1,000 miles or more, it is a hard tire. I can't get one now, but under normal circumstances I would put one on. I'm knocking a $100.00 off for one. So the price is now at $2,000.00.

Thank you.

Sorry, the bags went back to their original owner yesterday. So now the Blast will be just the sportier version, it won't be in the touring class.

After latest round of discussions with the wife she wants me to NOT sell this bike. So thanks for all who have looked and asked, it is now off the market. Thank you.
