The muffler is packed with stainless steel wool so it will never blow out or need repacking. They're simple plate metal, I want to say about 4" long, 1" wide, 1/4" thick, with a hole at each end to hold the muffler to the frame. They're easy enough to pull off, I'll yank one and measure for ya.
