I have a 1999 Honda VFR800 that I'm thinking of getting rid of for a Uly. Great bike, but I miss my Buell and I think a Uly will be more comfortable for the wife and I.

There is currently about 31700 miles on the clock, but the gearing isn't stock so it reads a bit higher. All maintenance is up to date. Recent maintenance (within past 500 miles) include: valve adjustment, new thermostat, coolant flush, clutch/brake fluid flush, plugs, fuel filter, fresh oil/filter, Michelin Pilot Power front and Pilot Road 2 rear, DID chain and Sunstar sprockets (-1F/Stock R).

Mods include a Corbin seat, bar risers, Micron exhaust, and BMC filter. The bike runs flawlessy (duh, its a Honda!), handles nicely, and pulls awesome. Great condition, never been down. I am the second owner and it has always been garaged. Plenty of life left in the bike, and if I don't get what I want, I'd probably keep it. It really is that nice...I just want something more comfortable for the long haul. Pics available upon request, located in PA.

Without a trade, I can do $4500 but no less.

Nick,

Have you sold it yet?

I feel the same way, I sold my '99 S3 to buy an '06 VFR. Granted it's a great bike but it kills my hands and I can only ride it about 400mi./day. I'm thinking of selling mine and buyin a Uly.

I do have a friend looking at picking up a VFR so I can pass your info along if you still have it.

Still have it...someone with an 04 XBS found me recently, but nothing solidified yet. I miss my Buell. The VFR is a great bike, just not for me.

If you wouldn't mind passing this along to your friend, that would be great!

Nick

Last year I purchased a 2005 VFR800 and about a month later a 2007 Buell XB12STT Lightning. After putting about 4k miles on the VFR including two trips to deals gap over the spring and summer I finally started riding the Buell. After about 1k miles on the Lightning I sold the Viffer.
