I am selling the catch can you can buy @ Lowe's if anyone is interested.

I bought it and the brass fittings for the inlet/outlet. It is all together and ready to use - just add 3/8" hose and a breather filter.

I did paint it black instead of the Kobalt blue color it comes in. Never mounted it to the bike - decided to go a different direction.

I have pictures but they are too big to post and I haven't played with resizing them yet. Just send me a PM and I will get you the high resolution pics.

How does $15 shipped to the lower 48 states sound?

Jusask,

There is a huge thread on this subject on the XB board right now. Search for "Breather Reroute" and you will find it.

Basically this set up is a water seperator you would use on a compressor that is set up to use for a catch can. You have to "T" your crankcase lines into one line and then run them into the can. A breather filter is placed on the other end of the can. Pretty common mod among those with the XB's.

The can itself cost me about $13 and change - then I bought the brass nipples for the in/out feeds. You can tap the bottom to accept a 1/4" petcock or use a plug in the bottom that can be removed. I bought the 3/8" fuel line and the filter. All told it would cost around $30 or more after you consider the small pieces.

There are various places to mount the can, but for XB's it fits on the left side of the bike just below the air scoop. For your bike it would depend on where you wanted it to be - but I think a lot of those guys mount them on the right side if I remember correctly.

Do a search of the site and see what you come up with. It has been discussed quite a bit.

My apologies but I think I screwed up who is first in line for the catch can.

Jbird11 called dibs first on the thread so according to the "rules of etiquette" he has first right of refusal.

I know Firstbueller and someone else had PM'd me but did NOT call dibs on the board first.

I made the mistake of checking my PM's before I looked at the updated thread.

Hope this clears it all up and sorry again.

Jbird11 - I sent you a PM explaining this.

Thanks,
Biomechanic
