2001 ORIGINAL OWNER x1. 21000 miles. Polished heads and pistons by HD dealer. Race comp, muffler and headers. Battery cover. New temp sensor. New Fork seals. CHROME HD engine covers. Forcewinder. Pingel catch can. CHROME custom tail section, swing arm and kick stand. New isolators. Carbon accents and front fender. Great brakes. PM rims. NEW DIABLO corsa tires. $3800 or taking offers to see what will be better parting out or $3800?.. I can help with delivery from Milw to anywhere between here and Pittsburgh for a gas fee. Well I thought about putting all of the stock parts back on then ask $5500 and I may drum up some Bueller interest? Maybe,,,,,, put a polished tail section then it would be mint? Right? Or ad some real bad powder coat job on a couple of parts??? And leave all of that plastic that sells so well....No wonder so many Buells get chopped or go to ebay.... Kinda disapointing.... | ||

I think the parts market is a little fubar'd now too.This is a great time to buy parts dirt cheap!I've been enjoying picking up parts for my little FoxBody notchback on the cheap.I've thought about "parting down" my S1 to build it back up the way I would be happy with it,but I think I'd give it away before I parted it out.Your bike looks very nice.It'll sell.....Just give it a little time. | ||

I wish I could talk my wife in to letting me get a few more buells there are so many good deals out there now. I guess Ill be the first to say it depending on what parts you sell I may take some off your hands for my x1. | ||

Well I have held my tongue long enough on this deal: I responded to the post and told him I would give him the $3800 he was asking for. Wanted a few more pics to check out.He sent me them and all was great....was gonna have his brother bring it to Pittsburgh and I was going to go down and pick up..... Then Sunday afternoon he calls me and says "I am not selling bike...got a ton of "issues" in my life....I will give you 1st chance if I change my mind...... VERY ODD...but O.K....... Sends a long email about how he doesn't play games like this and just too many things going on.....so bike is not for sale. I said o.k ...just let me know if you change your mind.... Then I start checking Craigslist again (I thought I was buying this one) and sure as sh*t its listed under the Milwaukee Craigslist (this is the very next day)...except listed at $4000.... For $200 dollars we could have worked it out... I email Mark from work asking status.... He responds with "yes its availible" among other things...... Bottom line is I have never offered to pay what someone wants and had them back out..... And Mark...I even left you a couple voice mails trying to sort this out.....no response at all..... Well Mark good luck and for all you that are buying his "stolen" Buell apparel.... HOPE HE DOESN'T BACK OUT ON YOU TOO..... Oh and before anyone makes me out to be a jerk...let me know I will send you copies of emails....I was looking forward to purchasing my 1st Buell and for no reason I was shafted... Mark I would love for you to respond to this and either prove me wrong or admit you are not the man you claim......remember our whole convo's ?...pretty bad state of affairs if you ask me..... It is always fun to see the rush to judgment on a site. One close family member of 30 years passes away the day of the post. The husband of the same member passes away 4 days later. My Father at HD gets the shaft after 29 years of service 6 months from retirement in the same period. My Brother couldn’t assist with transport anymore…. Well, that is just to start. I don’t have to explain myself. Did Joe get caught in a different situation? Sure. Was my position some what off? Sure. I never asked anyone for sympathy of my situation. I never bogged HIM down with my lives changes. I reserve the right to do what I feel I need ANYTIME I choose, as would do all of you. Nobody is twisting anyone’s arm to purchase anything. We all would or should have done things differently. Joe told me that he had till Monday to have a decision on the bike in Florida. Remember I called him back on Sunday to tell him so he could pursue the other Buell HE wanted also. Joe had NO money lost! No contract. Nothing per him he still could get the bike in Florida. He got nothing but a broken heart. I have been there many times as a Bueller. Well I feel sorry for Joe. He can send you the emails. I mean, I really do feel bad for him. As Buell people we all have needed a back up plan for things we look for in a bike or parts as they change in an instant, and we just miss out. And as for the comment “STOLEN” apparel????? I have been riding Buell’s since 96. I still have more apparel than the next 10 people on here, trust me. Choosing some really bad things to say in the heat of the moment is not a very wise decision. I have many people on this site that have been here since its inception that can back me up! Do you Joe????? Conclusion? Joe has a mint 99. (we all know what 99’s have issues with shhh) Could we all please congratulate him on his first Bad Web Bike purchase. I knew he could do it! Joe, CONGRATULATIONS!!! And life goes on as we know it. This is by far one of nicest X1's i have ever seen, or ridden with, along with one of the nicest individuals. I am assuming any theft comments were deleted because they are flat out wrong. If the economy was doing as well as it was just a few short years ago, this would never have been an issue, because it would have never been for sale here.It would have been in my garage. Yeah you could sell your bike to whomever you like.....but at least be MAN enough to tell them the truth. I gave you no reason to "not want to sell to me"....I even said "Do you just need a little time to sort things out (remember you are the one telling me your life story) and you stated "No" "I just did it in haste because of the whole getting the shaft from H-D deal".....BUT....if I change my mind you will have 1st oppurtunity to buy it....MY WORD"....remeber writing that Mark...?... Truth be told Mark....I did like your bike and would have bought it....but from the emails I have received from your "friends" maybe I am better off.....ANY KNOWN ISSUES ? MARK..... Now I am in a "very unsettling situation" I joined this forum because I was buying a Buell and like to communicate with others with same interests. I belong to numerous snowmobile and atv website.....and have made some great friends (most I have never met in person....but would do anything for) and thought this was that type of environment.....Was I wrong...?... I realize I am new to this site.....and many have been here a lot longer.....but the (shhh dont tell him the issues with his 99.....and by the way....what kind of Girlie High School crap is that) just puts a huge black mark on this site..... Can I ever rely on any info. given to me or are all the "people you know" gonna act like you...?... I was really excited about "joining in the fun" but as of right now not sure..... I am not a big fan of the Carbon Fiber (on the whole bike)....plus I really liked the set-up in the original pic;copper pipe, forcewinder etc. and would have had to much in it to get it like that again..... And the whole "palerider" fiasco had me "gun-shy" about the integrity of some on here and that may have steered my decision.... I appoligize that I didn't call you back and tell you I didn't want it....am sure you will find a buyer for it.... | ||

My last post on this subject....... 1st off I never said I would take the bike from Wile.....I asked him if he would take $XXXX dollars and he said yes. I wanted to get some new updated pics of bike which he sent me....turns out it is slightly different than the pic originally posted and wasnt exactly what i wanted. And I did tell him in an email "I couldnt justify paying so much more for not what I wanted"....His responce was fine...he couldnt drop price anymore (which was fine with me)...and to let him know if I wanted it.....ask him yourself if it happened any different... So I went with a stock bike and will tailor it to my needs/likes. Mark....grow up...be a man...thats my point and no you did not get back to me....just the initial "lie email"..... And yes Mods.....please close this thread | ||
