SOLD Seat is in good condition, It came off a bike with 6677 miles. I'm unsure of how many of those miles were using this seat. You can see the only damage for yourself. The leather is starting to rip along the lower front left edge of the seat. I never noticed it while the seat was on the bike. All offers will be considered in the order of responses to this thread. I may be interested in trading for other tuber goodies for an X1 such as saddle/tail bags, pegasus frame plugs, etc. (Message edited by pkforbes87 on February 22, 2009) (Message edited by pkforbes87 on February 24, 2009) |

Do you know how the riding position is effected by this seat compared to the stock seat? I had a corbin seat once and didn't like the more aggressive seating position. Plus I am short and the harder seat also made it hard to be flat footed at a stop. Anybody know if this seat is closer to the corbin seat or the stock seat for these 2 issues? |

I've never ridden on a Corbin, but if looks are accurate, then they are a lot different than the Select seat. I've got a stock seat as well, and have never noticed a difference in riding position or comfort from one to another. The big difference I notice is the way the transition to the passenger seat is more pronounced on the Select. The Select seat seems to give more support behind your butt. One thing to note - I THINK there were different versions of the stock seat that are identical to each other. I say this because I've seen other X1s with a seat that looks perfectly stock but is hard as a rock. FYI I have another select seat w/ orange trim that I'm keeping, so don't wrongfully assume that I'm trying to get rid of the select seat and keep the stock one |

Ive owned both, the select sits more like a stock seat thats 100x more comfortable. The corbin is a far more agressive seat i found. I prefered the corbin, but those who like the seating position of the stocker would want to stick to the select. Bump for pk |

I'll take it for $200 if you don't have any other takers. Thanks - Eric |

I need $250 from it. I paid $320 for my orange one, so I don't think the price I'm asking is too bad. Shipping is included in the $250 price. |
