Hey I have been having bad luck trying to locate a part for my old truck, so I thought I would try my luck here.

I need the mopar front input bearing Retainer for a A-833 4-speed OD unit. It should measure to be 5.125 dia on the big end.

I know its a very random part but I need it.

Ok cool, I did not think anyone would respond

The A-833 OD trans was common on light duty Dodge trucks from about 1970 through 1986 I think. they also came in a bunch of 70s cars too.

Its a 23 spline, 1.248 tube, 4.16 bolt circle, and 5.125 big end dia.

here is a link with plenty of info
http://www.slantsix.org/articles/4-speeds/ODA833fo urspeed1.htm

they are still available NOS, but they go for like $70. I bought the whole trans for $50(missing this part), so I am trying to keep it cheap.

My truck is 72D100 with a 440, I swapping it to the 4-speed because the automatic was getting boring. This is literally the last part I need.

Thanks again
