Great running, Traxion Springs. Full Buell race kit. Has been extremely reliable. Save your street bike for the street and keep it looking good by having a dedicated track bike.Cheap at $3500.

hopefully some better pictures. And I wonder why I never got hired as a photographer for easy rider or Playboy.

As you hopefully can see only a few mild scuff dings and scratches.

note that color is uniform on all metal and plastic, even photo glare and reflections don't look like it.

Rhun, other than the lack of turn signals, mirrors etc. what keeps this bike from being a street bike as well?

I guess mainly its intent. that is what is was for me. It has more of a race tuned suspension. Race orientated pads on the front. Most people kind of prefer a few dings and scuffs on a track bike (although these are lite). It makes it look more rugged and if you drop it you don't feel as bad. : ) I always like my street bikes to be immaculate.

2004 XB 12R
Strong stock motor
Traxxion springs in the front
2007 and later air filter cover and its cover has holes like the 2007 and later
Braking pads cm895 pads on front.
corsa III tires has one track day on them
Full Buell race kit, muffler, ECU, K&N
around 9,000 miles
a few dings and scuffs here and there, but nothing noticeable from a foot or two away.
I would expect that you should easily get another track season or two with out any repairs. But then again I'm not hard on equipment.
This bike has been extremely reliable.
I change the oil every other track day and the front fork fluid at the beginning and middle of the season.
I ran mainly at HPT in the advanced class. Lap times were within a second or two of the CCS Amateur's winners that ran there last April not trying to brag but to demonstrate that the bike is strong.

Title question:
I bought it from a dealer in Green Bay who bought it from an insurance company. Under Wisconsin law if the damage exceeds some percentage it is called a junk title and Wisconsin keeps the title. I guess if you were to add up new parts for every piece that had a minor scuff or ding and shop labor to replace it, like an insurance adjuster would do, it would add up. I replaced what was needed for not much money. As I have a paper trail from Buell to a dealer in Racine to the guy who had it to the dealer I bought it from, it is a legal bike. I was going to get a my State builders title, as I have all the paperwork for my State. I originally tried to do that but the Highway patrol guy that did the inspections quit, the new guy didn’t show up frequently as he had to come from 70 miles away. After pulling all the stuff off for a track day then putting back on for the KHP and the inspector not being there I gave up after a while. Then again no title no taxes. I ran a carfax on it and the bike doesn’t exist, I guess because Wisconsin recaptured the title. Thus if you are interested in a title you will need to get a builders title or whatever your state has, but I will pass on the paperwork. I have been looking at race prepped bikes for a while and titles are not that common. As some of the Buell motors and frames come from the Buell racing department, they don’t even have VINs. then again if I had standard title, I would be asking around $5000.

Thanks for looking!!

yes it is. I have a person or two interested, but have seen no money.
This would make you a nice track bike. It has passed technical inspections for, nesba, sportsbike track time, trackaddix, and a couple others. Has the necessary safety wiring, etc.

Price reduced $3300 Still a great solid bike! If you like track days or think you might this will save the wear and tear on your street bike. I don't think I mentioned, amongst other things, it has Dark horse slider and also has all of the stuff to make it street legal like lights turn signals, mirrors, etc. The color is uniform, although my photography makes it not look so. It would take a keen eye to see the flaws unless quite close.
Check with your State motor vehicle department or highway patrol to see what is needed to title it, if you would want to. Getting a builders title is quite easy in most states.
