Im looking to convert my cyclone back to its 97 bodywork. Im looking for gloss black or gloss red tank and tail section. If you have just the tank thats ok, i still have my old tailsection and i can have it painted, and i plan on buying a corbin since i remember the stock seat was not comfortable. Thanks | ||

well just so happens I have the tank and the tail section ...with the corbin seat for sale. I live in St. Louis. not sure what it would cost for shipping. they are primer color right now. and I think you may have to work with the gas cap. Let me know what you would like to offer and we can take it from there.( Assuming your looking for the narrow tank) | ||

Clarification. First, I do not sit at my computer all day. And some days I don't even check my email. Second, Guell started this thread. If anyone had "Dibs" it would have been him. Not you Lovedabueller. Third, I asked for your offer because I had the parts and wanted a "fair" deal on parts that I have for sale. If I wanted to be greedy and an a**holel. I would have looked up the parts at work (I work for a Buell dealership and I am a wrench.) Fourth, the parts in question new primered tail section and tank with the corbin seat are over $1100.00. Fifth, you two fellas aren't the only ones interested in the parts nor is this the only site they were listed at. Sixth, I was naive enough to believe someone here might make an honest offer and not try and take advantage of my momentary lapse of reason. I asked for an offer because I wanted to give someone a deal and not have to look up the real value of the parts. Lovedabueller you questioned my honor, and all the while you were trying to take advantage of the situation. I guess its just how you look at. Lesson learned for me I guess. Research, list the price, wait for someone to try and lowball you or "jew ya down" or try some line like "i don't like suggesting a price when its your stuff." Yeah my price worked for you. but when someone else offered more you weren't willing to do anymore negotiating. You just decided to judge me and tell me I'm not a man of my word. You said "sold" I didn't. The laws of supply and demand and negotiation still apply in the real world. And if someone outbids you ...you dont have to be a sore loser. | ||

First off i was i was second on the list... and after GUELL said he was out. and bumped this post up for me... i thought that put me first in line...and besides that i responded first is this not a first come first serve kinda deal????? SECOND, it really doesnt matter the price for what it is worth NEW.. THE PARTS AREN'T NEW. so listen up. i was not trying to "JEW YOU DOWN" i asked you what they are worth to you. and told you to let me know. you responded with and i quote "How's 200. Corbin seat. Tail section and Gas tank. primerd? " then after you came to the realization that you stepped on your junk and went to low AFTER YOU MADE AN OFFER TO ME!!!! you asked me to raise the price.. thats BS. so i was looking out for me of course thats a good deal. who wouldnt take it. lesson learned from me, do business with people who know how to condect it... your ridiculous. | ||
