Hey guys, Bought a new 09 XB9 and wanted hero blue, however the only thing my shop claimed they could get was a red one. So, I bought new hero blue plastics and wheels. I am currently getting the red stuff swapped to blue at the shop. When the shop is done, I will have the 2009 red wheels and red translucent plastics (with black 09 decals) in like new condition with less than 500 miles on them. $850 shipped. Killer deal for a new color swap or to make your older model look like the 2009. I paid over $1100 for my new plastics and wheels direct HD. I will post pictures as soon as I get the red items back from the shop. I also have a Low seat for XB9 Models, if interested, make offer. | ||

how much for just the wheels? do they have tires on them? brake discs? sprocket? or are they stripped? | ||

got an offer of $50 shipped on the seat. the seat will go to them unless I get a better offer. I'd let the wheels go for $625 shipped. The wheels will be stripped of the rotor and tires. Just the wheels themselves for sale. | ||

I wouldn't give him $625 for the wheels either, but in his defense, his wheels have zero miles on them and he just paid that much to get replacements...so, they're essentially factory-new anyway. Just saying... | ||

The seat is sold. As far as the wheels, just trying to recoup without taking a huge loss for a simple color change. I paid the retail $375 +tax per wheel from HD (they're never cheaper than list around here). Over $800 bucks. I figured slimming 200 off would be fair. Could do $525 shipped. Any cheaper and I would rather keep them as a back-up set than lose $400. | ||

It looks as if they have at least 500 miles on them. and they have had tires installed and then taken off so I wouldn't consider them factory new. I know how dirty mine got in the first 500 miles. And my dealer also offers them for a little under 600 doll hairs. No shipping cost and if there is something wrong with them you don't have to accept them. | ||

$125 for the plastics w/decals and X-Guard. (Airbox cover is vented at the gas cap by the way, looks like a new feature I didnt see on older airbox covers.) $650 takes it all home. Just can't justify much more of a hit than that right now. My loss is your gain. I wish I had found a deal like this on new blue plastics. Dustmann, its a buyers market right now. I'm feeling the pinch myself with selling parts, much less a bike. | ||
