I am somewhat ashamed and saddened to say it, but I've decided to sell my wonderful Buell for the time being. The ad goes something like this: 1999 Buell S3 16k mi. Race ECM, K&N, 2 windscreens (tall and short), 2 sets bars (tall and short), Buell bike cover, Buell tankbag, service manual, receipts. Lots of 2001 updates, reliability fixes including metal rocker box gaskets, primary chain tensioner, exhaust mount, weld-reinforced muffler, front brake rotor assy, lots of $$$ invested in reliability. 15k service recently performed by dealer, new drive belt. Blue book is $6700, but will consider all offers, reasonable or not! No trades. "Demon Blue" with white frame and wheels, looks very sharp. I would give it an 8 on a scale of 1-10.
