hi there T! and welcome from the rumors i've heard, fork size was increased from 41 to 43 mm in '05. it'd make sense that both the R's and S's got the same forks that fateful year... ooh, and the ulys too. but i'm basing all this off of rumors, so take it for what it's worth. i've been toying with the idea of swapping top triple tree clamps ever since i saw a finished product at buelltoberfest, and was thoroughly impressed. for me a set of clubmans does the trick, but looses points on the slickness scale | ||

Top clamps are the same. Only the bottom clamps were changed for the increased fork diameter. Matt, nice looking boy on your profile. My son just turned 1, they are a joy. (Message edited by cowtown on December 02, 2008) |
