Black 1982 R65

Purchased: September 1996
Usage: 60,000+ miles, Street/Sport, Touring, Other.
Tires: Metzeler Laser ft/Dunlop 491 rear
Accessories: Vetter Quicksilver factory option fairing, hardbags, metal rear rack, halogen running lights, bar-end mirrors.
Modifications: Updated shift linkage, Italian horns, Progressive fork springs, Koni rear shocks, rubber mount modification for the Quicksilver fairing (good idea!), interior lens brake strobe, blue dot, rigged wiring for rear signal runners, aftermarket headlight bulb, Batteries Plus sealed gel battery, Battery Tender, reupholstered seat, condition 2nd fairing from Crow at Red Barn Beemers of Knoxville (He's a GREAT mechanic!!!), milk crate from Ohio, shortened windscreen, liberal applications of various reflective materials on bike

I will also part with the old Vetter Quicksilver fairing that came on it, but it has cracks on the frame mounts. It's still quite salvageable.

Check Craigslist local to Knoxville for a posting with pictures.

$2600 will buy it, with all the extra parts. Your Beemer purchase will help me pay for the Shovel rebuild I have now underway.
