Ok guys so I have had what now, 3 buyers flake out of purchasing my engine. I am going to put it back up here for sale before I put it back on ebay. Here is all the information... What I have here is a 2000 Buell Lightning X1 engine that I had built for my bike. I recently ran into some trouble and need to sell it. The motor has the following things done: Revolution Performance Big Bore Kit (1250cc) All New Harley Seals and Gaskets XL1200 Heads XB12R Rocker Covers and Breathers Updater Y-Exhaust Bracket Updated Shifter Nology Wires New Oil Pump Custom Ground/Hardened Cams (Race Stage 2) Forcewinder Intake NRHS Billet Front Motor Mount Race ECM New Speed Sensor New Clutch Cable The engine will come with the 4 bolts to hook it up to the swing arm, all the wires to get the engine running, the Buell race ECM, and stock ignition. This is a direct plug and play motor. The engine has 7,209 miles on it, the engine broke two head studs around 5,000 miles and that is what made me decide to build it. All parts were new when I bought them and thus has around 2,209 miles on them. I included a dyno graph also, i ran the bike a few days ago just to show how strong the engine is. It really needs a professional tune, but the race ecm works fine for now. There is also two videos just to show the motor runs, the first video is of the bike starting up. The second video is after it warmed up, i give it a few revs just to show the bike runs fine. The bike has a small leak around the starter, i just never got to resolving it. I use to have to add a 1/4 a quart every few months, so its nothing bad, small easy fix while the motor is out. If you have any further question feel free to ask. thanks...the buell finally was done for. I had too much money in it and then one day a bill for school came in and I saw the interest rate...36.99% I said F'that and I had to start to sell the bike. Lucky for me I got enough money together to pay tuition off before the first payment and interest period, but now I need to pay some other bills off before I get another bile. Looking into another x1 or s1, we will see when the time is right Until then, the money from this will go to the bank and pay the remainder of the Gixxer 1000 off. | ||

Anyone know anywhere else I can put this engine up for sale? I have had it on eBay 3 times and every time the buyer flakes on me? Any other suggestions? | ||

How about putting it back in the X1 frame and selling it as a complete bike. I've found unless you happen across the "right buyer" mods and new parts don't add to the value. | ||
