This is a '97 Buell S1 gauge mounting plate that has been powder coated satin black.
There is a little contact cement residue from gluing the rubber gauge isolators on but it's NOT visible when the gauges are installed.

$15.00 plus shipping

Sorry. No trip reset button.
Can't even remember how it installs.
Could it be made on the lathe?

Hehehehehe. . . . lust like the Marchesini white wheel plugs and the Italian S-1 controls left "blank" cover . . .

I have good news. . . they DO exist. . . but like the things mentioned above are a bit difficult to come by.

Drop me a note and I may be able to help.

Try an electronics retailer or outlet. I bet you'll find one from a panel mounted switch or simular.

Jim:

If I were you . . I'd tell Joe what you needed and remind him how poorly Buell treats Canadian owners. . . see if you can scam him into sending it you you free.

I'm gonna have to dig deep to find this thing. I remember just looking thru parts bins until I found what I needed and plugging in a part number when I bought it. Since I'd found it...I never bothered looking up an application : (

I'll find it...eventually. Mine's chrome, that OK with you or do you need black? I can get the whole reset cable assembly (with nut) for about $13 US...*that*, I can look up : )

They list for $3 but I can get a little bit off that - if you need, PM me : )

eu contraire Court.

Deeley's House of Buell has been a blessing when it comes to service and support. There is no other manufacturer that would have stepped up to the plate like Buell has over the years. You can argue there where many more recalls and issues with the early Buells than any other brand, but they honored them even if out of the warrantee period.

Hey Court - speaking of "unobtanium" parts...any chance you have some "marchesini" wheel decals kicking around? I still have all my plugs, but one of the washbay guys used the wrong cleaner one day and a couple of my stickers, while still there, no longer say anything ; )

Dan - got your email; PM me your address and I'll bag one for ya : )

Actually Stuart and all the guys with Buell Canada have always done a stellar job . .. at least for the last 14 years. The complaints I often hear are the lack of access to web based goodies on the Buell website for Non-USA (the majority) Buell riders.

By the way . . . that's a good buy on the black "two holer". . . that was not a real common part.
