I am not affiliated with the seller in any way (though if it is who I think he is, I think I he and I went to the same church for a few years)... Anyway, I was looking for a cheap CR50 for the kid, and came across this bike:

http://home.fuse.net/edge/racersedge/bike31.htm

It is indexed from this page:
http://www.racersedge411.com/

Which describes the bike as essentially new... wrecked on the second ride. Listed for $3800.

Looks like it hit pretty hard on both sides, the description lists bent forks (pictures looked OK to me, but who knows). Looks like the swingarm is lunched as well, and the flyscreen / guage assembly has clearly seen happier times.

But the motor and header look solid, and the frame looks scratched but fixable. Belt is shot, but wheels look OK.

Were I more motivated, and less happy with my 9 motor, I would buy this thing and take the best parts and merge my 9sx with it to make a XB12SXL, which would be a really cool bike, and sell off all the other leftover parts piecemeal and probably come out way ahead on the deal. But I like the 9sx too much as is, and cant bring myself to putz with it.

Anyway, just thought I would throw this out there if somebody needs what is in effect a new 12 motor. $3800 for a more or less new 12 motor, and you can no probably get $1500 to $3000 back in the other salvagable take off parts if you invest the time and energy.

They are about an hour from me, but as they also have CR50's that the kid would love to see, it wouldn't take much to get me to go inspect the thing first hand and render an opinion if anyone is interested.
