I am an auto mechanic and have taken great care of this bike during my ownership. When I bought it the recalls had all been done. Then I replaced all gaskets from the base gaskets up, crank seal, updated tensioner, starter gasket and outer primary gasket. It had a brake pulse so I installed a new E.B.C. Rotor and Pads(Thanks AL) The bike wasn't loud enough for me so I installed a new V&H SS2R, and Buell race Filter with a jet kit. Bike does not leak any fluids and recently had a new front tire and oil change. I have the bags with narrow lids. It has a CORBIN seat. I put the bronze bushings on the shifter and brake. I took off the handlebar spacers but they will go with it. This bike does not have a scratch on it, and looks like new. I want to get $4,000 for it witch is what I paid and this price is firm so please no low balling. You might be able to find one cheaper but you will spend at least another grand to make it not leak, and look as good as this one. I really wasn't planning on selling this bike but I have fallen in love with an old Ducati Monster that needs some attention, and money thrown at it. I still have the stock muffler if you want it. If you are a serious buyer please call me.

How comfortable is the seat compared to the stock plank? How many miles can you comfortably do before pain? How different is this bike from a 1999 model? Do you still have the stock parts that were replaced (aircleaner etc)? I'm looking to replace my 1999 that I had to sell a few years ago. Thanks much.

I can do a about 170 miles before my butt starts to burn. That' about to reserve anyway. The 99 has a little more power and is fuel injected. I prefer the carb for ease of adjustment and reliability. The early Buells were notorious for E.F.I. problems. The only stock part I have is the muffler. Give me a call if you have anymore questions.
